The Association of Consulting Engineers Pakistan (ACEP) was established in 1989 as a
registered non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the profession of consulting
engineers in Pakistan. With a membership base of 120 firms, ACEP strives to disseminate
engineering knowledge, promote ethical practices, and foster collaboration between the
public and private sectors. Headquartered in Karachi with chapters in Lahore, Islamabad,
and Peshawar, ACEP serves as the only body recognized by The International Federation of
consulting Engineers (FIDIC), The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), and are the
members of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP,) Federation of Pakistan
Chambers of Commerce (FPCCI).
Our mission is to protect and promote the interests of consulting engineers in Pakistan.
ACEP acts as a neutral forum to address issues with government and international
agencies, enhancing the working relationship between these entities and our members. We
aim to provide professional development opportunities, uphold the highest standards of
ethical conduct, and support our members in delivering exceptional engineering services
across various disciplines.
ACEP envisions a future where consulting engineers in Pakistan are recognized globally
for their expertise, innovation, and commitment to excellence. We aspire to be the
leading professional body that shapes engineering policies and practices, fosters
sustainable development, and drives the growth of the engineering sector in Pakistan.
Through strong partnerships and a dedication to continuous improvement, we aim to
elevate the standards of engineering services both nationally and internationally.
